High-efficiency transformers.

These transformers are designed to minimise energy losses during the voltage transformation process. While conventional transformers can have efficiencies around 95%, high-efficiency units reach 98-99% or more.

This difference, however small it may seem, translates into significant energy and cost savings over the transformer's service life, since they operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
